I would like to buy Symmetries as a gift to a friend of mine who believes he is very clever. What can I do? (Or give it because of any other reason, of course)
To give the code back the program asks for some information from the hard drive where it is going to be installed!!
Taking this into account, the easiest way to proceed would be to do all the downloading and purchase process from your friend’s computer, but paying yourself for the expenses
This is not the smartest way. The following way is a bit more complicated but it will produce fewer interferences and bother your friend less.
1. In your own computer:

2. Copy “Symmetries folder” on any informatic trick (pendrive CE…) (make sure that “Symmetries folder” contains all the elements in c. just above) Send this folder to your friend and tell him to:
|
||||
3. With his code you can buy the license for him:
|
||||
4. With this unlocking password your friend must Run the Demo again Click the “Purchase” button in the main screen of the program and introduce this unlocking password The Demo will turn into the complete program

Is the number of different games limited?
It is almost unlimited.
The different games are not previouly stored.
The program uses the so called "random generators" to calculate a new game each time.
Do the games always have a solution?
Yes. The program "cheats" in some sense producing the zones first (that's a process the user can't "see") and afterwards, it fills the zones with the chekers.
The "Solution" button will show you precisely the zones that were calculated first.

Can a game be completed in more than one way?
In the main screen of the program you can see a scrollbar called --checkers++ which is set to"1".
If you don't change it there is only one way to accomplish the game.
If you set it to the left to a smaller value, the numer of checkers will be fewer and the game may be solved in different ways.
The "Solution button" shows one of them. Precisely the one that the program calculated to generate the game

In Game 1: If we place few pieces on the board, will the game be easier?
It depends on the dimIensions of the board and on the complexity of the zones.
If the grid is rough fewer pieces will produce an easier game
If the grid is dense and the zones are complex putting fewer pieces can produce a more difficult game.
Few pieces give more possibilities to complete a game but you get less guidance
