Description
Symmetries includes 2 games. the second being much more difficult
GAME 1 : In the same zone
![]() |
The different colors have to be separated in different zones so that, in the end, the chequers of the same color are all placed in the same zone The zones have to be delimited by 4 axis that start at the center of the board. The player must lengthen these axis until they reach the border |
The player only needs to lengthen one of them. The other three draw themselves in a symmetric way The graphic shows a non-finished game, and how the axes act symmetrically |

Here we show a finished game. The chequers of same color are all confined in the same zone |
In this example we showed a 4 zones game. But the program offers many other options. We may have 2, 3, 4 or 6 zones!
Note also that the board was an 8x8. The grid can either be enlarged or reduced
Look at images of other configurations
GAME 2: In different zones
The division in zones is achieved as in Game 1. But the goal is different Pieces of the same color have to be separated in different zones. So, at the end of the game, each zone will contain one piece of each color |

Here we can see how the axes turn symmetrically to produce the different zones This second game is more difficult. As a help, the program will let us clear and replace the orange pieces at random |
| Game completed! All equal pieces in different zones |
